SM-70 MIG wire is developed for welding carbon steels and 490 MPa class high tensile steels where consistent feeding, stable arc performance and reliable mechanical properties are required. The ER70S-6 chemistry provides enhanced deoxidising capability for cleaner welds on lightly contaminated materials.
Typical applications include structural fabrication, automotive manufacturing, machinery production and general engineering work. The wire performs effectively with both CO? and mixed gas shielding systems.
