High standards of quality checks
Perfect aluminium welding thanks to AC version.
Aluminium TIG welding requires alternating current (AC). Since aluminium is a very good heat conductor, a higher current is required for every additional millimetre of material thickness. Material thicknesses far exceeding 8 mm can be handled easily by the T-Pro 250 welding units. Beyond this, the AC mode optimises the current form for greatest stability, outstanding cleaning effect of the aluminium oxide skin and reduced noise. The integrated spherical cap automatic function ensures perfect arc shaping as well.
Improved welding quality thanks to MACS.
The additional special Lorch MACS (ModulatedACSystem) process improves welding quality by way of targeted heat application. MACS provides outstanding results, in particular when joining different material thicknesses.
Pulsing and fast pulsing at up to 2 kHz.
The integrated pulse and fast pulse function at up to 2 kHz is particularly suitable for processing thin welding sheets. It permits outstanding weld pool control for perfect results even at difficult welding tasks.
Interval point function.
The interval point function reduces heat application. This is of special benefit for welding tasks where warp and temper colours must be avoided, e.g. when processing thin sheets.
Energy efficiency at full power.
The integrated stand-by function ensures turns individual components on and off automatically. The Thermocontrol sensors monitor system temperature and adjust the fan as required to reduce fan noise, dust load inside the machine, and power consumption.
Robust housing.
The T-Pro housing is extremely robust and mobile thanks to its sturdy handles. This makes it ideal for use in a workshop. The top of the housing also makes for a perfect storage surface.
